Bananas, oranges and kiwi no longer surprise anyone. We are used to seeing these fruits on our table all year round.

But there are many other fruits with unimaginable tastes in the world, and Bright Side collected 19 of the rarest ones. Who knows, maybe in a few years they will become familiar on our table.

The taste of this fruit resembles ice cream , and when frozen, it is used as a filler for waffle cups. However, you can also taste the taste of pineapple, mango, papaya, peach and strawberry. The fruit melts in your mouth like sour cream or a delicate cream. It is famous for helping bring down the temperature and treats dysentery. The only negative is that the seeds are poisonous.

durian

The main feature of durian is its nightmarish smell and at the same time amazing taste. The smell is described as a mixture of rotten onions, cheese and turpentine, and someone smells the stench of rotten fish and sewage with garlic (the fruit contains organic sulfur), in connection with this it is forbidden to carry it to public transport and hotels. And the taste of the fruit is nutty and cheesy with a hint of banana, mango, pineapple, a mixture of ice cream and strawberries . Another feature is that it cannot be mixed with alcohol (causes a powerful jump in blood pressure

Jackfruit

The jackfruit tree has the largest fruits, weighing up to 35 kg and 90 cm long. The aroma and taste are reminiscent of a mixture of banana, pineapple and mango, or even fruit chewing gum. And roasting gives the jackfruit seeds a chocolate flavor.

Jaboticaba

Jaboticaba tastes like grapes . Jelly, marmalade, wine and liqueurs are prepared from these fruits. A decoction of the dried peel of the fruit is used in Brazil as a remedy for asthma, diarrhea and dysentery.

Miraculous Berries

The fruit has magical properties, which, however, have a scientific explanation. It is enough to eat one berry – and whatever you eat next, everything will seem sweet (even a lemon). And so for a whole hour.

red bananas

Sweet, raspberry-flavoured fruits (some smell like mangoes) that contain much more potassium, beta-carotene, and vitamin C than regular yellow bananas.

Juicy, small, yellow watermelon, now I will try you and describe your taste!

Hello yellow lovers!

It happens like this, you see a beautiful new berry, you put it in your mouth and eat it, and only then you think what it was. This is what happens to me sometimes. In general, today I have a tasting of a new berry for me on the menu, namely yellow watermelon. What does it taste like? Now we will find out, but first things first.

Let me start by saying that I have been wanting to try it for a long time. What hindered? Do not know. And this summer I definitely said – we will try it! And then everyone ate, but I didn’t, am I worse than others & # 128512;?

Yellow watermelon is a hybrid obtained for the first time by foreign breeders by crossing wild and cultivated watermelon. The first such crop was harvested in the Mediterranean. Yellow watermelons are grown today mostly in the southern regions. Although in the middle regions, local yellow curiosities are increasingly being sold.

Price. Its price is within reason. At the bazaar, we bought it for 25 rubles per 1 kg (in comparison, red costs 8-10 rubles now). But the price in the Magnit store, for example, is 34.99 rubles per 1 kg. Conclusion, go to the market. You will definitely get better quality goods there. But okay, let’s not talk about it. Let everyone choose a shopping area for themselves.

Appearance. In appearance, it looks like an ordinary, familiar red watermelon.

Smell. Smells like grass. How did you understand? Yes, I just went into the kitchen fifteen minutes after the meal. And everything became clear. The smell of freshly cut grass, or maybe the herbal smell of pumpkin. But pleasant.

And the best thing for me is that it can be used by people on a diet.

Yellow watermelon is good for people on a diet, as it contains few calories, but it is quite nutritious. It is also prescribed for people struggling with excess weight and patients with atherosclerosis.

Taste.

Yellow watermelon has a denser structure than the red counterpart. Although, now there are a lot of red watermelons of different varieties of different density and taste. Therefore, I did not particularly take this into account, the breeders tried. It has a watery but sweet taste. The first half I ate hot, from the market, it was sweet and juicy, and for some reason it seemed to me that it was somewhat similar to pineapple.

How much can I eat at a time?

If we talk about red watermelon, then a lot! Well, probably a piece of 3-4 large ones! Approximately 2 plates if without peel. I got half of the same watermelon (about 1.5 kg) for a whole plate. Fortunately there is almost no crust here. So, I had to divide this plate into two. Very satisfying.

So why is he good?

  • It contains a huge amount of vitamins A, B1, B2, B5, B6, B9, E, C, PP. Which support the immune system, and in general have a positive effect on the body.
  • Like the red fellow, it will help you go to the toilet and not just once.

In general, the overall impression of “yellow” still made. Unusual and delicious! And most importantly low-calorie and fortified. Juicy and elastic pulp will not leave anyone indifferent! I advise him to buy. And especially if you have not tried it yet, then the new delicacy will pleasantly surprise you!!
